Women Empowerment in South Africa.

In South Africa, where the murder rate of exerts, power and control over women is almost five times higher than the global average, and the number of exerts is taking on alarming proportions. In the statistics of officially victims of  violence committed against women in South Africa, according to police data, 53,295 cases of  exerts, crimes were registered in the 12 months from April 2019 to March 2020. This means that such crimes are committed every ten minutes.

The goal of our organization concerning this  Issue  is to provide the affected women with the full range of necessary support, starting from the very first stages. The biggest obstacle to global development is gender discrimination and violence. Our organization needs support from the UN or  any  other entity,  a permanent partner  coordinator is needed. As one of the main tasks of the UN is to find a long-term solution to the problem of exerts,  and gender-based violence. A basic package is needed to provide assistance to women and girls who have been subjected to violence. That is why achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 – gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls – is a prerequisite for progress. In  our outreach program we  have come  across  thousands of  women  who  have  shared  their  stories   with us that we  need to  help tackle this social  ill.
